Lingfield Chamber of Commerce exists to support and connect local businesses of all sizes, to help improve the appearance and general business environment of the village. Our aim is to make Lingfield the most pleasant shopping experience in the area, to encourage greater profitable footfall in the village, to the mutual benefit of our whole business community and local residents. Recently we made some updates to our website including a directory of our local businesses and feature weekly blog posts every Monday.

We are looking for a photo which defines Lingfield for the landing/front page of our website. This will be the first page that pops up when people visit our site, so it will be seen by a lot of people! Below are a few pointers when taking your photo:
- Be creative! We don’t have any set ideas of the style of photo we are looking for… we would just like a photo by a Lingfield local to brighten up our site. It should be of a location in Lingfield centre or somewhere which is recognisable to locals to make sure our site represents the local area.
- If the photo has any people in that are recognisable, please ask them for permission. Shots of the village rather than selfies will have more chance of winning!
- You don’t need to have a professional camera to enter, but please be mindful of the quality of your photograph. Pixelated entries may not be counted.
Please send all entries to eleanor.wort@gmail.com with the subject ‘Lingfield Photography 2020’. This is to ensure no entries are lost, thank you!
The winning photographer will have their name and social media on the photo, so you will be credited for your hard work. In addition, you will receive a bottle of champagne!
Runners up will be featured in a post on our website.
The winner will be announced on the 10th of August.
