The new online service is set to launch on 26 May 2020 and will allow small and medium sized employers to apply to HMRC to recover the cost of SSP relating to Coronavirus.
COVID 19 Self-employment Income Support Scheme
HMRC’s online eligibility checker is now available. You can check your eligibility and obtain a date on which you can apply for the grant. If the tool kit states you are eligible, you will need to have a Government Gateway account. If you do not already have one, you will need to set one up now.
COVID 19 Bounce Back Loans Launched
Small businesses are eligible for 100% government-backed bounce back loans of between £2,000 and £50,000.
