The front-page photo for our website has been chosen!
After many beautiful entries from Lingfield locals, we consulted the members of the Lingfield Chamber of Commerce to decide on which photographer was to win a bottle of bubbly.
Peter Davies’ photograph of one of the most recognisable spots in the village was chosen to make the website clearly representative of the area. The plan going forward is to use both of his entries, one for summer and one for the winter months so the website will change with the season. Clive, chairman of the chamber delivered Peter’s winning champagne to Snow Jewels located on the High Street.

Our new front page will make the website easier to navigate for our visitors, with clear pathways to useful parts of our website such as the directory for residents, and the resources section for businesses.
The redesign of the website was started in May after a survey was sent to local businesses to ensure any changes would be an improvement to the site and helpful to users. Since then we have published 17 blog posts on our site put forward by local businesses and hope to carry on uploading useful business-related content for our readers.
As we move into the last part of what has been an unprecedented year, we look forward to developing the website and our offering to our businesses. We have our fingers crossed that the chamber can support local charities and organisations with Lingfield Day 2020 in December.
